Thought these guys were great when they serviced our van earlier this year. We had an intermittent fault on the wiring from the car to the taillights of the caravan so while they were servicing it we asked them to check this out and remedy it and we would happily pay the extra. On picking up our caravan everything worked and they told us it was a loose connection that was sorted now. It worked fine when we left. Great. Not exactly! Our caravan has been in storage since then, we went out in it 2 weeks ago only to find the problem was back. It took us hours to find that the initial "loose connection" hadn't been sorted at all or if it had it had been done badly. We eventually found that the wire had been jointed under the A frame, jointed very poorly and insulation tape wrapped round it. This has ruined our trust in this company. We will not use them again. This review is fair and truthful. We used these guys based on the previous reviews so felt it only fair to let people know that things may not be all that they seem...
S&C came recommended and what a great recommendation it was. The whole experience from first to last was pleasant, friendly, helpful and efficient. We shall be back with our motorhome, because I would trust them with any future works. Happy to recommend S&C to anyone
Absolutely fantastic service again can't wait to get the gas fire roaring this weekend. Chris has carried out a fair bit of work on our caravan and has always been very helpful explaining what we need doing. We will be back for any future work we need and our annual service. We recently took our 22 year old motor-home to S & C Caravans for extensive damp treatment. Chris and Sarah were exceptionally easy to deal with and Chris answered all our questions patiently and professionally. We were extremely pleased with the work which he and his team carried out.
