Good selection of beer at a good price. Very happy to see the red lion sign still up as I remember it from 40 years ago.
Usual Wetherspoons fare. Good selection of beers and food was good.

The beers are reasonably priced. Didn't eat the food as we have been told its mostly microwaved?. The decor is looking old and tired. When you walk in, it's like going back to the 1970's and smells old too. Having seen their boss on BBC Question time, i think he is still living in the late 1960s & 70's. I think this must be the norm as all JDW pubs I have visited look and smell the same. I also get fed up of leaflets left out on the tables from their big boss banging on about "we must leave the EU". I guess that's what you get from a brexiter!. If we leave the EU, the prices WILL increase!!
