Good day out if you like trains. Three very nice cafes. Plenty to see for adults and children. Nice ride on train.
Very cute little station with a tea room and a gift shop. Pretty basic but fine for whiling away an hour or two with the kids. Didn't go on the train this visit but we saw it coming in and out of the station. Next time when we have more time (it shuts at 3.20 on a Sunday)
A great experience for families. I had a turkey and cranberry sandwich and coffee. This place is not about food but about railway. Everybody is passionate about their work and so many volunteers work there. Go and experience it.
I absolutely love this place, it's a family tradition to go on the Santa special every Christmas eve for over 30 years. My parents took me and now I take my own. So magical
Rather disappointed as expected steam engine but found it was not a day for it. Was replaced by a Diesel one. Easy car park (guess it wasn't a busy day anyway). Worth keeping an eye on timetable as it's worth getting off at one station to explore (eg. old Signal Box)
